In terms of control system, Kaichen Power Diesel Power Station is equipped with advanced controllers, including DSE controller and self-developed KC series controller. Compared with ordinary controllers, its control performance is more flexible and reliable. Unlike traditional controllers that only use active power as a starting and stopping condition for the unit, Danfoss controllers can use active power and apparent power as starting and stopping conditions, with excellent recognition ability and resistance to low power factor loads, effectively preventing motor burnout. At the same time, it supports parallel operation between controllers of different brands, saving the trouble of retrofitting old units. The KC 1550 expansion controller can achieve redundant hot standby function. When the main controller fails, the backup controller can seamlessly take over the detection and control functions of the unit without affecting the control, protection, and load response performance of the unit during the switching process. The controller adopts dual CANBUS bus communication. When one bus fails, it can automatically switch to the other bus to ensure normal communication between controllers. The maximum number of parallel units can reach 32, and the fastest response time to complete parallel operation and load bearing is less than 10 seconds. The load distribution mode can be flexibly set (such as average load distribution, full load restart of another unit, etc.) to balance unit performance and operating costs.
